The Burnaby Lake Village Master Plan is rooted in the principles of transit-oriented development, complete communities, and a dynamic public realm and mobility network. The redevelopment intends to activate the site’s full potential, being located directly adjacent to the Sperling-Burnaby Lake SkyTrain station, by introducing a hub of multi-modal connections and anchoring a vital mixed-use community at the gateway to the wider Bainbridge Urban Village. At the centre of the broader Bainbridge Urban Village, Burnaby Lake Village is positioned to become the heart of a new community – a place to live, work and play.
